Vishwavir Ahuja, Managing Director & CEO of RBL Bank is a veteran in the banking industry with close to 30 years of experience.

Vish joined RBL Bank in 2010 and has worked towards building an institution of banking excellence, resting upon pillars of strong corporate governance and compliance framework, high quality capital, risk management and unparalleled customer service.

He has led the transformation of Ratnakar Bank, from a small traditional and narrowly focused regional institution, to a vibrant, new-age bank with a high degree of professionalism, competitiveness, size and scale. Vish has been instrumental in driving the change and re-branding the institution from the previous Ratnakar Bank Ltd. moniker to RBL Bank.

Prior to 2010, Vish was the Managing Director & CEO of Bank of America, India from 2001 to 2009. In his stint with Bank of America, he had assignments in USA, Hong Kong and all four Regional Offices in India. He held various positions in Bank of America, having worked in India's Credit & Risk Management Group division, Treasury & Foreign Exchange, Corporate Planning & Finance and was Head - Corporate Banking & Investment Banking before eventually being named CEO at the age of 41 years.

During his tenure, Bank of America was rated as the 'Best Foreign Bank in India', 'Most Efficient Bank in India (across the entire Industry)' and was rated amongst the top 2 in Credit Quality by Ernst & Young Financial Express survey in the year 2008 and 2009.

Vish holds an MBA degree from IIM, Ahmedabad and has an MS in Finance from the University of Michigan, USA.
