Ashu Suyash is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CRISIL, a global analytical company and India's foremost provider of ratings, data and research, analytics and solutions. CRISIL is majority owned by S&P Global Inc., a leading provider of transparent and independent ratings, benchmarks, analytics and data to the capital and commodity markets worldwide.

As MD & CEO, Ms. Suyash oversees all of CRISIL's domestic and global businesses, and leads CRISIL's efforts to deliver high-quality analyses, opinions and solutions to its rich and diversified client base, which ranges from small enterprises to the largest corporations, financial institutions, governments and policymakers based in India and around the world.

Ms. Suyash has spent 28 years in the financial services sector. Prior to joining CRISIL in June 2015, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of L&T Investment Management Limited and L&T Capital Markets Limited. She was appointed to the role after L&T Investment Management's takeover of Fidelity's Asset Management business in India, which she helped launch in 2004.

Earlier, Ms. Suyash was the Head of Strategy and Business Development at Citibank, where she was responsible for evaluating new opportunities and growth strategies. In all, she spent 15+ years with Citibank, during which she held several key positions across the Corporate, Consumer and Investment Bank.

Ms. Suyash has been named amongst the Top 50 Women in Business in India several times by various publications like Business Today and Fortune India. In the year 2011, she was recognised as one of the 25 most influential women in the asset management industry in Asia by the Asian Investor Magazine. She is on the Advisory board of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and PFRDA's Pension Advisory Committee. She has a keen interest in the education sector and is associated with the Board of Studies at NMIMS and with N.M College. She is also on the Advisory Board of Aseema Charitable Trust, an NGO with a mission to provide underprivileged children with a nurturing and stimulating educational environment that helps them recognise their limitless potential.

Ms. Suyash is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University (N.M. College) and a Chartered Accountant.
